Volunteering opportunities
Do you want to join the team of people who make Brighton Permaculture Trust the dynamic organisation that it is?
A friendly team of dedicated enthusiasts run the organisation, much of the work being voluntary. Opportunities for involvement include:
• Trusteeship
• Financial
• Fundraising
• Secretarial
• Administration
• Course tutors
• Helping out at courses and events
• Hands-on practical work on demonstration sites
• Picking and processing fruit (scrumping project)
As yet, Brighton Permaculture Trust has no formal volunteer support structure, so our team are all self-managed and self-motivated. Office work is usually home-based, and most communication is carried out by email, assisted by our developing online office.
An understanding of permaculture and issues relating to sustainability are useful but not essential for all roles.
